Our Story
What started out as a basement private life coaching practice for women and little girls’ self esteem, and then grew into a private school confidence curriculum program; strip-mall summer camps; fashion, culinary arts trendy birthday party business; has now grown into the go-to resource for building Christ-centered confidence in young girls.
After 14-years of one-on-one life coaching and running summer camps, confidence programs, and parties for thousands of girls in Louisville, KY — founder Abbey Mueller felt the Lord’s pull to relocate to the Atlantic Ocean in Charleston, SC, and finish the later years of her career expanding the Abigail Academy® into a multisite organization reaching girls across the country with her well-loved systems.
But she realized she couldn’t do it alone. Today, she coaches other women on how to take her systems into their communities.
Abbey focuses on staying close to the pulse of the lives of little girls she teaches through her resources and writing, by offering a few programs herself every year in Charleston SC, but remains committed to seeing the Abigail Academy hometown of Louisville KY thrive by serving as the Abigail Academy Foundation INC. board of directors president, where she continues to hold the vision of the programming mission, team philosophies and best practices.
The Abigail Academy Foundation INC. is the beneficiary of all Abigail Academy LLC® systems and programming, so that Abbey’s stewardship of her life calling can live on for the next generation in the Academy’s hometown location. You may not need one of our resources, and still have a heart of generosity for our mission. You can support our 501c3 Foundation here.

Kind Words
“Abigail Academy® does wondrous things for young girls, it builds their confidence and helps them grow to be young women grounded in faith.”
– CAROLLE S.

Why a Starfish?

A little girl was walking along a beach where thousands of starfish were washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would gently pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with curiosity and amusement.
She had been doing this for a while when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t possibly make a difference!”
The girl was crushed. But after a few moments, she bent down, gently scooped up another starfish, and tossed it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference for that one!”
The old man looked at the girl and thought about what she had done and said. Inspired, he joined the little girl in throwing starfish back into the water. Soon others joined, and all the starfish were saved.
