*COVID-19 UPDATE: We love our families! Our summer camps are open. If the state of KY mandates us to close during one of your camp dates, we will provide you with a refund.
Our camps integrate creativity with fun and meaningful activities that make every camper feel valuable. Campers build upon learned theme tools and techniques on day one, and are always excited to celebrate and share their invested efforts with parents and guardians at the end of a camp week. Our emphasis this summer is to instill confidence by repetition of themed skills, empowering the campers to use our learned life skills in ways that will make them an even more valuable asset to our community because of their Abigail Academy learned skills. .

Culinary Arts: COOKING & BAKING CAMP: All things from scratch!
Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner + Meal Planning & Prepping + Breads + Cookies + Cakes + Presentation + Party Planning
Girls can expect fun! Each day of camp will include time for new culinary techniques, refining old skills, menu inspiration, and natural life skills to improve confidence. Girls will love preparing for the end of the week friends and family culinary soiree!
Due to COVID-19, we merged the themes, camper ages together, and our menu may adjust a bit. We are doing whatever we are able to give our girls the most variety and of course fun options every single minute and day of camp (of course!)!
Sketching + Sewing + MakeoversStart to finish design conceptions. Campers design outfits during fashion sketch sessions, improve sketches with details in various mediums such as water colors, acrylic, and textured studio elements, then use the new camp skills and time to make the vision a reality by the end of week. Imagine Ralph Lauren inspiration, then production, then an exhibit of his masterpieces. As a bonus, campers will get to do “before and after” clothing, hair, and makeup makeovers on each other, as seen on tv!
FASHION PRODUCTION CAMP: Beauty Industry Presentation
Runways + Photoshoots + Wardrobe Building + Personal Image Development With this summers theme being “From Scratch”, think a blank canvas at this camp, and the girls produce it all! Girls build photo backdrops, runway platforms, and brand their personal identity. The girls will still get to do some fashion poses and a final runway show, but will be working hard all week to be innovative with creative and positive ways to speak “girl power” into the average beauty industry. Think strong girls getting to express their value, worth, and creativity!
Girls can expect to learn new fashion and art techniques, refine existing creative skills, be inspired by the activities, and have a blast with our team who encourages them to embrace their body , personality, and gifts as God made them to be.
Believing in Yourself + Being Yourself + Communication + FriendshipsGirls can expect to feel good processing what they are feeling about the new school year ahead, and how they are going to make the best of it. Campers will meet other girls who can lift them up during the school year, have peer encouragement on top student topics, learn some new tools for school confidence, and make artsy projects to bring home that will play as a visual reminder to be authentic and confident during the school year. This is a preferred prerequisite for any student joining the After School Confidence club during the spring or fall. All guardians attend “Tool & Topic” info session on Monday evening from 6-7pm to gain a better understanding of what the girls social, emotional, and scholastic topics of concern for the school year included in our first day of camp. During this informational session, you will also be able to ask questions about how to respond to the girls questions during camp week, and find out about our school year Confidence Club that goes more in depth with tool application on Camp topics.
